Dr. John Michael Hensley was born in Michigan, the only son between two daughters in a family who was far from the knowledge of God. As a youth he experimented with drugs and alcohol, then moved toward incorporating the traditions and beliefs of eastern religion into his lifestyle. All avenues were unfulfilling and in a final attempt, Dr. Mike joined the US Navy where he would have his life-changing encounter with God. In 1972, while aboard the U.S.S. Forrestal, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. In 1973, while in the Navy, he met and married his wife Sharon. After an honorable discharge, the two returned to Michigan where Dr. Mike worked for Ford Motor Company but longed to be a police officer. He believed his dream was shattered due to his prior arrest which prevented him from pursuing his goal. After gentle prompting from his wife and a mighty miracle from God, Dr. Mike applied and was awarded a position as a Wayne County Deputy Sheriff where he remained for 8 years. During this time, Dr. Mike continued his education by attending Madonna College University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree with Highest Honors. All the while doing Correspondence courses with Northwest Assembly of God. He went on to later receive the highest honor of all and received his Doctorate in Theology.2010-Senior Board Member at The Father"s House International2007-Present Ordained Evangelist with ICFG1988-2007 International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, Los Angeles, CA. Pastor Mitchell is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served honorably for 5 years. While serving as a Chaplin assistant he started over 15 bible studies supporting our troops and at-risk youth and young adults. Pastor Mitchell has written numerous Christian publications dissecting the scripture making it applicable to all who read. The United States Air Force recognized Pastor Mitchell for his outstanding local community involvement by awarding him the 2002 Volunteer of the year award and 2003 Bruce C. Schultz Citizenship Award. In 2004 Pastor Mitchell’s book “Answers to Every New Believer’s Questions was published. Copies of this book have been circulated in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Japan, and all throughout the United States. Due to an overwhelming desire for this book Pastor Mitchell recently published a revised edition to this book in December 2010. Pastor Mitchell has travelled the globe spreading the gospel in countries such as: Holland, Rome, South America, Germany, and all throughout the United States. In 2004 Pastor Mitchell was selected by the Church of the Living God International as the International Missionary of the Year. Making him the second man ever to be awarded this prestigious honor and the youngest to hold this year long post. He then went on to start Restoration Church in North Carolina and the same year due to favor of God was able to purchase 11.98 acres of land debt free for the kingdom of God. In 2007 he became an ordained Elder and immediately started his second church on the Southside of Columbus Ohio. Pastor Mitchell by the leading of the Holy Spirit was led to form an interdenominational bible based church with an emphasis on Christian education. The Father’s House International Inc. was started, receiving its 501 c3 in less than one month. Through prayer and the grace of God the Father’s House International was able to purchase a 19,000 sq ft edifice in the first 10 months of its formation. In 2009 Pastor Mitchell was accepted in the Masters of Theology program at Trinity College of the Bible Theological Seminay. He went on to receive a Doctorate in Sacred Litterture for exceptional contribution in Christian writing and he then received his Doctorate in Divinty. In 2011 Dr. Mitchell founded World Changers Bible Institute and Seminary which provides exceptional education for Christians throughout the world."Be assured that there is no age limit on faith. Doctrinal StatementA. God reveals Himself in the three persons of the Godhead, the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy SpiritB. We accept the Bible as God"s infallible word, inerrant in the original manuscripts. It is our only rule of faith and practice. C.
